Q. Who created StarterCRM?

A. StarterCRM is one of the first total CRM solutions created specifically for small businesses. The suite of solutions was designed and is wholly owned by Lodestar Technology Labs LLC, a privately held company headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia and dedicated to providing advanced technological solutions tailored to the unique software needs of small businesses. Our applications facilitate seamless collaboration between small business owners, their customers, their prospects and their employees by allowing the inputting and sharing of key information.

Q. What types of businesses are the applications designed for?

A. The StarterCRM applications can be used by businesses of any size at any stage in their lifecycle. However, when we designed and developed the applications, a great deal of emphasis was placed on addressing the financial and functional needs of smaller, early-stage businesses – companies that typically have fewer than 50 employees. We felt that this was important because our experience has shown us that businesses of this size have a need for tools that are simpler to use and more affordable than most "out of the box" solutions available on the market today.

A. The StarterCRM applications were designed specifically with small businesses in mind and give you the tools you need to more effectively manage your business. Using the applications will enable you to spend less time managing and more time growing your business.

Q. Is StarterCRM software that I have to download or are the applications web-based?

A. All of the StarterCRM applications are web-based which means you can manage your customer relationships from anywhere you have a computer and internet connection. Additionally, because the applications are web-based, you never have to worry about having the latest version – upgrades and fixes are implemented on our host servers where the applications reside, and are thus made available to all users simultaneously.

Q. As the applications are web-based, which browsers are supported?

A. The StarterCRM applications are compatible with the latest versions of the Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome browsers.

Q. Do I have to buy all of the StarterCRM applications or can I purchase subscriptions to individual applications?

A. The entire suite of CRM applications is available for purchase as a package. However, if you’re interested in purchasing individual applications, you can do by visiting www.startersuccess.com.

Q. What does it cost to purchase StarterCRM?

A. You have the option to purchase either a monthly or annual subscription. A monthly subscription to all 3 of the StarterCRM applications costs $14.95 per month.

Q. I have several employees that need access to the applications. Can I purchase licenses for additional users?

A. Absolutely! Your subscription includes licenses for 2 users. During the checkout process, you'll be given the opportunity to purchase licenses for additional users if you so wish.

Q. Can I establish different users for each of the different applications?

A. Yes. You can control user access to individual applications through the account management section of the StarterCRM site.

Q. Do you offer a free-trial so I can try using the applications before I buy?

Q. How do I get started using the applications?

A. Once you're logged-in, you'll be taken to the StarterCRM application dashboard. To get started, you simply select one of the applications listed on the left side of your dashboard.

Q. Can I feel confident that all of my customer and prospect information is secure?

A. Absolutely! The customer and prospect data you enter while using the applications is stored on servers located at the Lodestar Technology Labs secure virtual data center.

A. Most definitely! We take data security very seriously and take every step possible to ensure that all of your subscription information is stored in a safe and secure environment.
